Performs work in the Receiving/Shipping area of the warehouse to include merchandise stocking, inventory control, and pulling of orders. Position responsibilities: 1) Shipping/receiving, warehouse upkeep and maintenance, miscellaneous warehouse duties 2) Pulling orders, stocks merchandise, packs merchandise. 3) Maintains Receiving area 4) Interacts with other associates in a friendly, positive and professional manner 5) Keeps work area clean, neat and safe 6) Follows all Company Policies and Procedures 7) Moving 18' bobtail trucks into parking area- must have a valid, clean CA driver's license 8) Reconcile quantity or product discrepancies 9) Document order errors and report to supervisor 10) Verify product received to packing slip 11) Pack orders in staging area 12) Pick orders using forklift, reach truck, or other equipment Prior warehouse experience is helpful, but not mandatory. Education and/or Experience High school diploma or equivalent experience. Mathematical Skills / Reasoning Ability Simple math Communication Skills Ability to communicate in a friendly and professional manner to our customers and other associates Physical requirements Able to lift up to 50 pounds, repeatedly Able to stand for extended periods Able to walk distances, repeatedly Other Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with Management, coworkers and customers.
