Seeking a reliable carpenter assistant/crew worker/ right hand man to work on quality projects in the Chicago suburbs, under the direction of a foreman. Local travel to job sites in the Chicago-land area necessary.Candidate should have own tools, be able to lift 80 lbs+, have a good work experience, clean record & clean driver's license; should also exhibit attention to detail, quality craftsmanship, a good work ethic and be reliable. Also be experienced in drywall, trim, framing & tile.Experience in laying & cutting stairs and composite materials a plus.Ability to work well with co-workers a must. The candidate should be self-directed and personally disciplined in their work.This is a non-union, full-time, W-2 position with overtime occasionally required.
