Original rock band seeks bass player for consistent rehearsals, recording sessions and gigs.
Influences include Oasis, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Audioslave, etc. Our floor is 90's/alternative rock, but we have the potential to be more eclectic.
We seek a bassist to learn the parts to our original songs (25-30) for recordings and gigs, and practice with the group on a consistent basis. We're not looking for songwriters or additional creative input, just someone who can come in and solely play bass.
Must have general availability and be able to practice 2-3 times per week, including weekends. Rent at our space (The Music Zone) is split amongst band members and would be an eventual responsibility, but not at first. We would give you a month or two to determine if this a good fit for you and us, and then proceed accordingly. If a permanent band member situation is not for you, we would even accept temporary assistance for occasional gigs.
