Needing guitar for a indie/post-punk band

Hi my name is Nelson! I play the bass guitar and I've been working with a drummer on forming a sort of post-punk indie band here in Gainesville. Some of you guys already saw my last post (I'm back!). Me and him both play guitar, but chose to switch onto other instruments for fun, ya know. We are both massive fans of the Cure, the Smiths, and guitar pop like that. I lean more towards punk music and he's into surf rock. As it looks right now, we are looking to form a three-piece band (guitar, bass, drums). Even if you aren't into our music taste, that's fine just know what you can expect a lot of rhythm work. If we can get a second guitar player, that be great as well but not necessary imo. We also are both into songwriting and composition, and we'd appreciate any input from this guitar player (who might be you!). If you can sing as well, that's a great bonus, but don't worry about it if you can't. Just bring your equipment and your ideas! Boy or girl, doesn't matter, just be a swell person all around. Personally, I'm 18 and its my first band, but he's in his thirties and has a lot lot more experience than me, just to give you an idea of who we are. We're both doing this for fun. I'd like this third person to be a newbie guitar player who needs help breaking into the scene, just like me, so if you got the spirit but not sure if you have the chops, WE WANT YOU! We'll even write your parts for you and teach you some stuff. Just believe in yourself!
