Are you a soulful bass player? Are you a classic rock music fan? Do you have professional gear? Would you audition for Jimi Hendrix if you could? If so, we are seeking you! Yes, YOU! We are BRIAN JONES ROCK'N'ROLL REVIVAL and we are in search of a new bass player. Check out our website www.brianjonesrocknroll.com We are a local San Diego 9-piece rock'n'roll band, with 3 original albums. We have been together since 2015. The band is made up of 2 female backup singers, a sax, a harmonica, a piano, 2 guitarists, a drummer and YOU on bass. It's full tilt boogie rock'n'roll...! Our drummer is the best musician in the band (!) and you will be his compliment! Our music honors the 1969 "27 Club" of Brian Jones (The Rolling Stones), Jim Morrison (THE DOORS), Jimi Hendrix and the blues music that fueled them: Muddy Waters, Chuck Berry, Robert Johnson, Elmore James. We play a lot of 1968-1976 Rolling Stones music...! We are all professionally trained and love to rocknroll. Age wise, we are in our early 40's. We would like a hip bass player who is our same age or younger, and likes to dress up and put on a show, because this is the entertainment business! We gig mostly on Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun, once or twice per month. We get paid $500 minimum and we only like to play on dedicated/elevated music stages. We split our gig money and tips. We have a monthly residency at Humphreys Backstage Live, Thursday 7-11pm. We are booked into Gator by The Bay 2022 and San Diego Fair 2022. We also play at The Holding Company and Winstons in Ocean Beach, and 710 Club in PB, and TIO LEOS in Bay Park. We rehearse 1x 2 week at a studio in Clairmont & 163, and at RocknRoll San Diego Studio.
