Wholesale Coffee Company located in Tribeca looking for a Tech & Training Manager. We are looking for someone who is professional, bright, ambitious, has great attention to detail and is customer service focused. Must have highly-developed interaction skills and demonstrate a commitment to providing exceptional customer service efficiently and effectively. Self-learning is essential to this position. This person must be a strong barista and possess basic knowledge on how to troubleshoot and service the following pieces of equipment: Faema/Cimbali/Casadio and La Marzocco espresso machines Casadio espresso grinders Bunn/Fetco coffee grinders Bunn/Fetco coffee brewers Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Maintaining proper coffee inventory levels at each of our clients and in-house Keeping Training and Maintenance calendars for all of our clients (quarterly in NYC, annually out of states) Checking in on clients once a month for any support they may need Overseeing in state and out of state Tech outsourcing when “big issues” occur Presenting any new coffee we add to our coffee menu to current clients Training current and future team members in barista skills/ coffee making Partnering with other team members during coffee tasting with potential new clients Overseeing and managing any new install Maintaining smallware and equipment inventory Purchasing smallware and equipment as needed. Coordinating and representing the brand at events whenever needed Committing to further your company knowledge and tech skills in general Traveling out of state on an annual basis to continue in-person training with Requirements: -Valid state driver's license with clean record -Ability to move heavy coffee equipment -Flexible schedule -Flexible travel time (out of state travel can last up to 7 days) -Experience with a smartphone, IPad, computers and related technology This position is guaranteed 40 hours per week. It is important that the candidate’s schedule is flexible Mon - Fri 9am to 9pm, as well as 6 to 8 weekends throughout the year for events and tradeshows. Annual salary to start at a firm $50k with annual review and possible increase. This position also offers monthly metro card for your travels, 1 bag of coffee for at home consumption each week, and a work iPhone/tablet. Paid vacation and sick time after the first year of employment. Federal Holidays observed.
