Join us for an in-person event to participate in an interactive setting to learn about respite, respite resources and provide insight! July 28, 20211:00 pm -4:30 pm: RCAW plans to conduct a comprehensive survey to collect information as it relates to the state of respite in Wisconsin. Attendees will help identify key stakeholders, target audiences, questions to include on the survey, and what data sets to collect. 4:30 pm - 6:30 pm: Networking Opportunity. Free appetizers. Cash bar. July 29, 20219:00 am - 3:00 pm: A detailed agenda is forthcoming, but will be very interactive and include establishing a crosswalk of activities, committees, workgroups, etc. that are focused on expanding respite care options. Learn about: Respite related activities currently in the works such as State Dementia Plan - Expand Respite Options Workgroup; Wisconsin Family and Caregiver Support Alliance - Expand Respite Options Workgroup; UW Oshkosh Center for Community Development, Education and Training (CCDET) Results from recent focus groups held related to respite care needs for children at risk and relatives as caregivers. A continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
