A Service Technician at Superior Trailer performs general trailer services and repairs. A Service Technician’s primary responsibility is to diagnose, troubleshoot, fix problems and make repairs correctly. A Service Technician must be able to communicate with the front office to interpret problem areas and or repairs made to customer trailers. Service Technician’s are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards. We are looking for a long-term candidate who is seeking a secure and rewarding form of employment. Responsibilities • Read and interpret repair orders. • Perform MIG and other types of welding based projects. • Install electrical and hitches on customers vehicles. Fix damaged trailers such as light body and frame work to electrical. Customize and upgrade trailers to fit customer needs. • Effectively communicate to the office staff and customers services and products and/or explain the root cause of a problem. • Ensure repair orders are completed in a timely manner with exceptional quality. • Assist other coworkers in the assembly and preparation of trailers when a shipment arrives.
