Description
RESET YOGA w/Marissa Tuesdays 12-1pm At RiNo Yoga Social Donation Based @cities2mountains RESET YOGA w/Marissa Give your body and mind a self-care break with Reset Yoga, a steady vinyasa practice guided by Marissa. Reset Yoga combines mindful yoga sequences with gentle yoga postures to bring awareness to the body and mind. We’ll connect with the breath as we move through yoga shapes and sequences. With these movements, tension releases as our bodies begin to detox stagnant energy. Detach from your day and reset with movement, meditation and breath. All levels of experience welcomed. This is a great class if you need to slow down and take a break. It's also great if you been working hard, running a tight schedule or been physical/mentally drained. The class will contain strength building yoga sequences and longer holds to detox the body and clear the mind. We will move through sequences at an intentional pace. Restorative shapes will also be practiced to give yogis time to restore and reflect. Cues will be given throughout the practice to guide any level of yogi. This is a 60-minute all-levels yoga practice. Variations are provided and it’s the yogi's choice on how deep to take it. Yoga mats/props available at no extra cost. Sanitation supplies available. Masks are required in the building, but can be taken off during practice. Parking available in lot next to building. I started teaching in Los Angeles and completed another 200-hour yoga training along with a 50-hour yin training. Three years later, I moved to Denver and have been teaching yoga ever since. I started doing yoga because it was a way for me to heal and transition from my demanding life of working out and playing sports. After learning more about yoga, I fell in love with the lifestyle and philosophy. In my classes, I like to incorporate strength building movements, simple cueing and meditative holds. When I am not teaching yoga, you can find me daydreaming or doing some sort of outdoor adventure. I also work as a nurse and have gained insight and certifications in holistic health and cannabis therapy.
