Afro’Dance New York is hosting AfroHouse workshops with guest artist Tany! Take this class in-person or from Home via Zoom. More info & RSVP: Get to Know Tany: I am Tany from Haiti. Newly Architect and Dancer. I began my foray into dance at an early age with the folklore of my country, some jazz, and hip-hop classes, to later continue investigating urban dance, first in Dancehall for 6 years. It is in Portugal during an exchange year 5 years ago that I had the connection with Afrohouse! A dance that comes from Angola in southern Africa. Here in Chile I then started a new process of sharing the acquired knowledge and vision of this dance by giving regular classes, participating and creating events in order to strenghten the comunity here in Latin America as a representative and member of "the afrohouse lab"! #AfroDanceNewYork
