What is a Meet-Up?
These fun gatherings are designed for individuals living with dementia and their care partners.
For our June Meet-Up we will begin at Clinton Antiques Center in Clintin, CT, to go antiquing and snap pictures of items that spark special memories. We will then go to Lenny and Joe's Fish Tale for lunch and to share pictures and stories. What is a Meet-Up?
LiveWell hosts monthly in-person “Meet-Ups” where we can be social together. These fun gatherings are designed for individuals living with dementia and their care partners. You are responsible for your own expenses (i.e. activities, lunch).
We typically meet on the 4th Tuesdays of every month and often it is over lunch.
These gatherings are not support groups; they are an opportunity to develop supportive friendships. And have some fun!
Since 1990, LiveWell has been a not-for-profit national leader in aging services; advancing care, support, and issues of importance to individuals living with memory changes and those who care about and for them.
We are social entrepreneurs committed to the inclusion and wellbeing of people as they age:
Reframing how we age together in community, supporting aspirations for health and wellbeing.
Partnering with people living with dementia to advance issues of importance to them, their families and those who care for them.
Reimagining medical services, integrated care, and specialized support for people living with dementia and their families to live well.
Reshaping residential living and care for people aspiring to live well with dementia.
Championing a global movement that is changing the way that people think, act, and talk about dementia; on a mission to catalyze a nationwide movement to foster dementia friendliness.
