For our August event, we are pairing up with another non-profit group, the Flower City Pickers! Come join us in feeding people, not landfills at the Rochester Public Market! We will help collect food from vendors as the market winds down and sort it into A-grade food, which will be distributed to our hunger relief receiving agencies, and C-grade food, which is given to a local farmer for feed or composted. Meet at the Picker's shed on the Union side of the Market (280 Union St N) Gloves and masks will be provided. Our post-volunteering event will take place right up the road from the Market at Rohrbach Brewing Company (97 Railroad Street). Please plan to join us after volunteering if you can! Community On Tap is a non-profit that organizes volunteer opportunities for young professionals in the Rochester area once a month.
