Good Acres Field Trip: Project Transformation at St. Mark's
Join us for Good Acres Field Trips — A chance to get out into the community and see real-world examples of faith communities activating their real estate for social good. Meet the leaders behind these projects, tour their properties and learn from their experience, and connect with a network of changemakers as you think creatively and practically about your own community.
Our June Field Trip will highlight Project Transformation and the partnership they have navigated with St. Mark's United Methodist Church in their Dellview neighborhood — From building on the legacy of a church in decline to bringing a smile back to this neighborhood property through gardens, libraries and more.
Watch Our Good Acres Roundtables for more of Project Transformation and St. Mark's Story and come ready to ask questions and meet others in the faith-based, real-estate, nonprofit and development spheres.

Mission City Renewal is a community development incubator. We engage our communities by incubating projects and designing resources to join God in the renewal of our neighborhoods. Our vision is to join in the growth of thriving neighborhoods cultivated by thriving people where the kingdom of God comes near — Where as spaces are rebuilt, hope is rebuilt, as businesses flourish opportunities flourish and as people are renewed, communities are renewed. Our current projects include The Impact Guild, social enterprise coworking community, Good Neighbor: A Fieldguide to Community Engagement, and Good Acres, a process for congregations to reimagine their land for affordable housing and other community benefit projects.
