Dallas's Pretty Much Only Carnivorous Plant Gallery hosts a special two-day event for July 4 Weekend
The outside thermometer keeps shifting between "sultry" and "spontaneous combustion," and the smart events are moving indoors. The Texas Triffid Ranch, Dallas's pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery, follows suit, moving indoors for a special two-day open house over the July 4 weekend. Come out to view carnivorous plants from around the planet, including pitcher plants (North American, South American, Asian, and Australian), sundews, butterworts, bladderworts, carnivorous bromeliads, and triggerplants, and stay to take home unique carnivore enclosures as living art. The action starts on Saturday, July 3 from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm and continues on Sunday, July 4 from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm: admission is free and masks are mandatory. For more information or directions, please visit http://www.texastriffidranch.com.
The Texas Triffid Ranch is Dallas’s pretty much only carnivorous plant gallery, located just east of Central Expressway and Spring Valley. Open both by appointment and for special gallery showings.
