Description
The first in our four part Summer Dinner Series, and we are setting the bar ridiculously high for ourselves. An experience for all of the senses. Dinner #1 will transport you to a different time and place for an evening. Taking place at one of West Okoboji’s most iconic lakeshore homes, we have curated an experience that pays homage to the property Featuring… A gourmet, four course dinner designed and presented by Kae Hoppe of Tweeters Cocktail and wine pairings Table settings and decor by Picnic Parlay LocationBuilt in 1953, the iconic Edward L. Bradley, Jr home sits directly on the shores of West Lake Okoboji. You have most likely passed it on your evening sunset cruise and marveled at its uniqueness. (It is, quite possibly, our favorite piece of art in the lakes area.) The MCM architecture steals the show from its neighbors. Boasting one of the most intriguing floor plans in the area, the property's boathouse features two boat garages with tracks directly into the lake . An underground hallway leads from the boathouse up into the main house. The interior of the home is a true step back in time. The MCM architecture and furnishings have been kept intact and maintained, leaving visitors with a nostalgic feeling for a bygone era. Come by land or sea! Dock space and car parking are available.
