This workshop will introduce you to using flash & off-camera flash in your photography. Learning how to use flash & artificial lighting in your photography can feel overwhelming but it doesn't have to be! In this workshop, we will start at the beginning and walk step-by-step through all the basics of using on & off-camera flash. We will go over uses for flash, how to get equipment set-up, what many of the settings mean, what different flash types & modifiers are used for, and flash placement for common scenarios. Workshop instructor Hannah Bell of Southern Belle Photography will demonstrate various lighting techniques on a bridal model so participants can see how lighting changes affect the image over all. After Hannah's demonstration, there will be a Q&A as well as an opportunity to apply what was learned hands-on with shooting our bridal model. If you are looking for a great way to get your feet wet and feel more comfortable using flash photography, this workshop is for you! This workshop will take place indoors in downtown Salisbury (so rain or shine) and will have a cap of 10 students. Hannah of Southern Belle Photography has over a decade of photography experience and she loves sharing her knowledge with other creatives. Her work has been published multiple times and she has been featured of MagMod's "How I Shot It".
