SeriesFest selection "Sanctuary" Screening & Fundraiser Mixer This screening is located in the gem of Malibu, "Malibu GIVES" luxury crystal showroom rooftop and event space. This private event is catered with an open bar and food by CourtneyT. A live auction will fuel the momentum for the charity "Every Last One" who provide homes & shelter for disconnected immigrants at the border and "Malibu Gives" who provide resources for low income artist in the cities that needs it most. SANCTUARY is a story by Writer/Director Devin Hampton that takes a microscopic view of a small American town that endures the new “no tolerance” immigration policy enacted by then Attorney General Jeff Sessions. Economic downturn, women’s fight for equality and racial anxiety play out within the story of the central characters.
