Help us support the Man, the Myth, the Legend...TIM BRINKERBeer, wine and event space provided by Olive + OakHors d' oeuvres provided by Green Street Real Estate Ventures(Cash bar available for mixed drinks)Raffle items available Please purchase event tickets by Monday, June 28 Tim Brinker was a pedestrian struck by a hit and run driver the morning of December 1, 2020 while helping a stopped motorist on his way to work. Tim is a Superintendent for Green Street Construction, a Green Street St. Louis company. As a result of the accident, Tim sustained numerous critical injuries, including a major concussion! He was put into a medically induced coma while multiple surgeries were performed on his pelvis, arm, wrist and leg. He spent 19 days in the Neuro-trauma ICU, another 9 in the hospital and 32 days at a physical rehabilitation center. We are happy to report that Tim is home, and in true Tim fashion, ahead of schedule! Unfortunately, the doctors could not save Tim’s right leg and he had to have it amputated above the knee. Tim has just begun learning how to use his new prosthetic leg. Tim must also use a wheelchair, and is dependent on the assistance of others for his daily needs. Tim is participating in ongoing physical therapy to improve his overall strength, regain use and strength of his left arm, and learn how to use his new leg. As you can image, the above comes with outrageous medical bills. With even the best of insurance, not all of Tim’s expenses will be covered. In addition, Tim wants to return to work which requires an advanced prosthetic and truck modifications to make that possible.
