During this four-hour class, we will be taking the Ellie of Mayo out on Lake Erie to put into action the sailing skills learned in Part 1! A learning experience about the fundamentals of sailing on the Ellie of Mayo, a 36' Catalina yacht. You will learn the language of seamanship to help prepare you to crew other boats or captain your own boat after additional experience and training. This course will also guide students toward the many ways to complete the Ohio Boater Education Course. JEO Sailing offers sailing experiences for the novice to the experienced sailor from mid-June to mid-October of every year.
