Description
We are a busy remodeling company in Concord, CA looking to hire a runner/project assistant. This position requires a candidate who handles multitasking very well, excellent problem-solving skills, and a clean driving record. The right candidate is a team player who is always willing to learn and help wherever is needed. This is a construction environment, you have to be well-spoken, take responsibility, and have thick skin in this industry while maintaining a positive attitude. We like to “work hard, play hard”, we are searching for the right candidate to match our team!
This position is 90% in the field. A vehicle is provided so a CLEAM driving record is required.
Responsibilities:
Answer directly to Operations Manager and Project Manager
Assisting Project Manager and overall wherever is needed
Visiting job sites, taking photos
Submitting permit applications at building department
Picking up materials
Customer service over the phone, email, and in-person
Qualifications:
HS Diploma required
Construction knowledge a plus
Must have attention to detail and ability to prioritize
Positive attitude with a desire to learn and work
