We are bringing together professionals to share their experiences of building a career in fashion and the arts with high school students. On Saturday, July 17th, 12 p.m.-3p.m, Style Week Pittsburgh is bringing together professionals to share their experiences of building a career in fashion, the arts, and insights into choices they’ve made along the way with high school students. The program is designed to introduce non-traditional fashion and arts careers to high school students in Pittsburgh, PA, and surrounding areas. The program is open to all high school students from the Pittsburgh Public School district and/or other surrounding communities. There is no cost to participate. Style Week Pittsburgh (SWP) was launched in 2013 by entrepreneur Wadria Taylor to promote talented fashion designers and artists from the region. With events and programming spanning across the city, SWP celebrates Pittsburgh’s communities and their diversity, resulting in increased connections and collaborations amongst designers, artists, and businesses.
