Hello, I'm an experienced and passionate pianist with teaching experience and a music degree from UC Berkeley looking for interested students based anywhere (virtual) or in the Oakland/East Bay (virtual at the moment). I have many years of combined experience in: - concert soloing - accompanying - playing in bands, small groups, chamber music ensembles, and jazz ensembles - writing, composing, and arranging - music theory With this, I have the flexibility to arrange long-term plans depending on your goals as a pianist. We can go in-depth on best techniques and pieces, or I can just serve as someone to hold you accountable to practicing and give you feedback. If you're new to the instrument, I have experience specifically teaching beginning piano techniques and musicianship as well. I am capable, patient, and enthusiastic about working with students of all ages, experience levels, and learning styles. Payment is completely flexible to accommodate for different lesson styles and student means.
