Hadley Louden - long-time professional keyboardist, percussionist, band leader, composer and arranger is available for serious projects and gigs. I have over 40 years professional experience touring worldwide and recording with such groups as: Bridges Jazz Ensemble; Soji & the Afrobeat Band, Baba Olatunji, Airto Moreira, Judy Mowatt, Malo, Ancient Future, Malonga Caskelourd, Mickey Hart, Starlift Orchestra, Mazacote, Marimba Pacifica, Los Bros, Hadley and the Hippies, Emam and Friends, Fantuzzi and Dr. Loco's Rockin' Jalapeno Band, Beat Freaks, and Marimba Pacifica among many others. I have been on the faculty and staff at such institutions as: UC Berkeley, SF State, Mills College, and the Crowden School of Music in Berkeley among many others. My bands perform regularly at major clubs and festivals throughout the Bay Area and Pacific Northwest. See below. I have mastered many different styles and regularly perform in African, Afrobeat, Latin Jazz, Salsa, Jazz, Brazilian and Classical ensembles throughout Northern California and internationally. I love performing and don't mind rehearsing! I have top flight equipment including numerous keyboards, three grand pianos, a few drum sets, multiple marimbas, vibraphone, flutes and recorders, innumerable African and Latin hand percussion instruments, including Congas, Bongos, Batas, Djembes, Dunduns, Full Maracatu Ensemble and Samba sets - you name it. And I've performed professionally and recorded on all of them! I read and I don't have to.... Forty years of ear training. I teach regularly.
