BEVERLY, MA —Beverly residents seeking to raise awareness about the often-unreported rate of elder abuse are invited to take part in a rolling rally through the city on Thursday. With World Elder Abuse Day on Tuesday, SeniorCare Inc., the Beverly Council on Aging and Senior Community Center and the Beverly Police Department are organizing the rally set to kick off at 10 a.m. at the Briscoe School on Cabot Street. Those participating are invited to decorate cars with signs and bring noisemakers. Beverly police will escort the rally through the area.
