Description
SUMMIT, NJ — After perhaps the strangest school year in history, Summit High School will graduate 279 students on Wednesday evening.
The outdoor ceremony, which takes place at Tatlock Field, can be watched live here on YouTube.
Last year, the graduating class first had a virtual graduation on video. Then, when Gov. Phil Murphy allowed outdoor ceremonies — but with strict distancing and masks — the class held an outdoor event.
Wednesday's ceremony will be held at 6 p.m. See the calendar here.
Members of the SHS class of '21 will then get to celebrate further at a Project Graduation Pool Party.
The district also planned to graduate 314 Lawton C. Johnson Summit Middle School students on Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m.
The rain date for both ceremonies is Thursday.
