Row-a-thon benefit to raise funds for Love For Lilly and the Bowen Family JCI Lansing is proud to present our 1st ever Row-a-thon! All proceeds generated will benefit the Bowen Family, whose daughter Lily, has been battling Neuroblastoma. You can find out more about Lily and her fight against cancer by checking out the Love For Lily Facebook page. Registration and volunteer sign up for the event will begin on June 15th and the event itself will be on July 31st at Redemption Fitness in Holt. There is an entry fee of $15.00 for the first 40 people. After that, the price will increase to $20.00. Participants will then collect pledges. Meters rowed on the rowing machine will be based on how much money is collected in pledges. For example: $50 raised = 500 meters, $100 = 1000 meters, etc. Pledges will be collected on the day of the event during registration. Cash, Paypal, and Venmo will be accepted for donations. And don't forget to make it fun! We encourage wacky outfits! For those who wish to participate but have never been on a rowing machine before, Redemption Fitness will be hosting a seminar two weeks prior to the event on Saturday, July 17th. This seminar is included with your registration fee. Let's bring the community together and help #beatcancer one meter at a time.
