Samuel Owen Gallery is currently seeking a full-time Art Installer & Art Handler to join our established contemporary gallery in Greenwich CT. This opportunity is an ideal match for a professional who is looking to expand their career in a highly successful gallery representing numerous contemporary artists. 5 days a week / Monday - Friday 9:00 - 5:00 Responsibilities Exhibits a friendly and approachable demeanor with staff, clients, and vendors, acting as a positive ambassador for the overall Project Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines Communicate with office throughout day to complete daily schedule Move, pack, unpack, install and de-install works of art for display or storage with appropriate hardware, leveling, and security Routinely transport artwork from artists, clients and between gallery locations/storage Requirements Minimum 2 years’ experience in a gallery, museum, or art transportation company Demonstrated concern for detail, accuracy and precise execution of work Able to work as a part of a team and contribute to cooperative problem solving; able to lead and be led Must be meticulous and detail oriented Must possess a current driver’s license Please email your resume and cover letter with the subject line: "Last Name, First Name: Full Time Art Handler - Greenwich".
