FRANKLIN, WI— Franklin residents can benefit local students and teachers by bidding on unique experiences and items at the annual Franklin Educational Foundation's Tee Up For Education Auction, according to a Facebook post from the foundation.
Proceeds from the auction will go into numerous funds that benefit Franklin students and teachers. Money raised from the auction will go toward a student emergency fund, student scholarship fund and educational grants. Bidding will end at 2:30 p.m. Friday, according to the auction website.
One of the auction items is the opportunity to throw the first pitch at a Brewers game. The package also includes two tickets to the game and $20 of concessions gift cards. The game will be a home game on August 8.

The auction is held by the Franklin Educational Foundation annually alongside its golf outing event, according to the foundation's Facebook post. The foundation seeks to increase local student and educator potential by ensuring they are fully funded, the auction website said.
Other auction packages include a week in Orlando, Florida over winter break, a trip to the Great Wolf Lodge in Wisconsin Dells, two tickets to a Badger football game, a signed jersey from Bucks players Giannis Antetokounmpo or Khris Middleton and even an all-expenses stay at the downtown Milwaukee Pfister Hotel.
Aside from the high-ticket vacation and sports items, other packages are available such as the "Thank a Teacher" basket. Also being auctioned: Car wash packages, Bartolotta's gift cards, rock climbing gym passes, bicycles and a Wisconsin State Fair ticket package- cream puffs included, no doubt.
According to the auction website, the auction has met 35 percent of its $10,000 goal so far.
