PRINCETON, NJ — Earlier this year, Princeton formed the Cannabis Task Force with the aim to recommend whether the township should host a cannabis dispensary or not. Read More Here: Princeton To Set Up Cannabis Task Force As NJ Nears Possible Deal The task force will be holding its first meeting with the public on June 23 at 6 p.m. Chaired by Eve Niedergang, the task force includes councilmembers Michelle Pirone Lambros and Leticia Fraga, and members of the community. The meeting will hear input from the public on the possibility of a cannabis dispensary in Princeton. Also on the agenda is a discussion on cannabis licensing and zoning. In last year's election, Mercer County voted overwhelmingly in favor of legalizing recreational marijuana. According to official results, 71.25 percent of Mercer County residents voted in favor, and 28.75 percent opposed it.
