Wondering about on-farm food produce food safety and where to start? This farm walk will help you start a risk assessment.
At … farm we are going to talk about the history of the land, what surrounds the farm, and what is raised and grown right there. As we tour the farm, we will keep our eyes open for different produce safety risks that may be present and discuss how those risks could be reduced.
A risk assessment will help you identify where you need to focus your limited time and money, what kind of training or resources you may need, what you can do quickly and easily, and where you can make larger improvements over time.
First 30 participants to arrive will receive a food safety souvenir.
