'Suspicious Person' Arrested Near Lakewood High School: Police

LAKEWOOD, NJ — Lakewood police have arrested a person after they received a report of someone behaving suspiciously near Lakewood High School on Tuesday. "Lakewood PD is investigating a suspicious person at LKWD High School," the police department said in a tweet from its official Twitter account. "One person is in custody. There is no immediate threat to students or staff," police said. Lakewood News Network reported the high school was sheltering in place. Additional information was not immediately available.
