Press release from the Dulles Regional Chamber of Commerce: Jun 14, 2021 Dear Industry Partners: We are very excited to let you all know that Fairfax County has recently announced their significant support for small and medium businesses with a specific focus on our industry including hotels, restaurants, and retail, along with several other categories such as arts organizations and venues. This money will come from the American Rescue Plan Act, recently approved by the federal government. We are extremely grateful to the County Board and County Staff for recognizing this need. The county has approved $25 million in small grants for COVID-19 impacted businesses to support their recovery. The pandemic has affected everyone, but none as much as our industry and those that rely heavily on consumer interaction. These grants are designed to strategically support the hardest hit sectors and help them PIVOT from survival to growth and future success.
