Full Job Description Description: We are looking for dependable experienced groundsman to join our team. We are located in South Charlotte, NC (relocation assistance may be available for the right person). We have the best new equipment, year-round work, good pay, overtime available, and opportunities for promotion. Requirements: • Demonstrated ability to operate equipment in an efficient & safe manner. • Prefer: Demonstrated ability to feed chipper. • Proficiency at tree cutting & handling ropes. • Minimum of 1 year working on a tree crew (preferred but not mandatory). • Pass a drug screen. Duties: • Vary depending on skills. • Remove, deadwood and prune trees, drag limbs, clear debris, rake, blow, sweep and clean-up job site. • Drive trucks and trailers to job site. • Maintain equipment & vehicles in a clean, professional manner. • Operate a variety of power equipment depending on skills, including bucket trucks, aerial lift, bobcats, dingos, chippers, chainsaws & etc... • Prepare equipment on a daily basis to be as productive as possible on-site including fueling, cleaning, & performing preventative maintenance in a regular proactive manner. • Ability to follow instructions & clearly communicate effectively with teammates. • Contribute to a safe work environment for employees & customers, staying alert while on the job, listening to crew leader’s directions, and following safety measures & guidelines as per company policy. • Contribute to a positive work environment & bring a positive attitude to the job each day.
