We're looking for self-motivated individuals who we can trust and train to meet our company and clients cleaning & safety standards. We are looking for 2 part time cleaning professionals to fill a position in uptown Charlotte. The candidate must have previous commercial cleaning experience, able to work as a part of a team and independently. The hours for this position are Monday – Friday, 4 PM to 8 PM and 5 PM to 9 PM. Must have a reliable transportation to work every day and be able to pass a drug test and background check. Must possess a professional demeanor and be comfortable amongst other professionals. Job Duties: Have access to, and know how to use, chemical cleaners Follow assigned work scope instructions Empty trash containers. Remove debris from floor. Monitor and maintain cleanliness of offices, conf. rooms, breakrooms, carpet and tile floors. Clean occupied and unoccupied offices Wiping down of surfaces Clean fingerprints/marks from glass doors/mirrors. Perform dusting, vacuuming and mopping as needed. Follow all safety and personnel rules, policies and regulations RequirementsJob Qualifications Education and work history that demonstrates work ethic and responsibility Able to lift 35 lbs. and carry a 12 lbs. backpack vacuum cleaner. Be skilled and knowledgeable about cleaning techniques for a variety of surfaces Understand the importance of sanitization and know when it is needed Have a clear understanding of not only the importance of cleanliness in public areas but also how to do their jobs efficiently with a minimum of disruption to the people around them Have good knowledge on the proper use of cleaning equipment Physically able to be on your feet during an entire shift; walking, bending, stooping, twisting, reaching, pulling, pushing, kneeling, and crouching. Must be willing and able to work in damp, dusty and soiled areas Must be able to perform professional services with clients and tenants in building, using high level of discernment and communication skills. Must have ability to work with little to no supervision and be able to independently determine tasks to complete on a daily basis. Must be organized and able to follow a schedule Must be self-motivated and take pride in work results Required education: High school or equivalent Required experience: Janitorial: 1 year Required license or certification: Driver's license Other Requirements: Valid North Carolina Driver's License Must possess proper work permits Must pass a drug test Must pass a background check Must be able to write, speak, and understand English Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs.
