All individuals arrested or charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. REPORTS ROBBERY, 2021-06110017, 3100 block of Wilson Boulevard. At approximately 1:29 a.m. on June 11, police were dispatched to the report of an intoxicated male walking in the roadway. Upon arrival, officers made contact with the individual who stated that between 12:00 a.m. and 12:30 a.m., he was exiting an establishment when he was approach by the unknown male suspect. The suspect told the victim to go to the ATM and withdraw an undisclosed amount of cash. After failing to obtain money, the suspect demanded the victim give him whatever money he had, and lifted his shirt to reveal a firearm. The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 25 – 35 years old, 6'0" – 6'3" tall, 180 pounds with short black dreads, wearing a red shirt, black pants, and mirrored sunglasses. The investigation is ongoing. BURGLARY, 2021-06130191, 3100 block of N. Pollard Street. At approximately 7:01 p.m. on June 13, police were dispatched to the report of a breaking and entering just discovered. Upon arrival, it was determined that the victims returned to their residence to find a window had been shattered and the screen to their sunroom had been ripped. While waiting for the arrival of police, the victims noticed blood droplets on the floor inside the sunroom and a pair of boots outside of the front door that did not belong to them. No other items were reported damaged or stolen from the residence. The investigation is ongoing. ATTEMPTED BURGLARY (LATE), 2021-06130163, 2600 block of 16th Street N. At approximately 2:48 p.m. on June 13, police were dispatched to the late report of an attempted burglary. Upon arrival, it was determined that at approximately 1:00 a.m. on June 13, the victim heard noises outside of the residence but upon investigating, did not see anything. At approximately 3:00 p.m., another resident exited the home and observed blood on the door and on the ground leading up to the porch. Items in the yard, as well as the fence, were also determined to be damaged and misplaced. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing. INDECENT EXPOSURE, 2021-06100182, 1300 block of N. Stafford Street. At approximately 10:02 p.m. on June 10, police were dispatched to the report of an exposure. Upon arrival, it was determined that the three juvenile female victims were in the area when they observed the unknown male suspect expose himself and begin masturbating. Arriving officers conducted a search of the area and located the suspect. Mustapha Benbrahim, 63, of No Fixed Address, was arrested and charged with Indecent Exposure. UNLAWFUL ENTRY (LATE), 2021-06100071, 1100 block of N. Stafford Street. On June 10, an officer reviewing an online report determined that the incident was an attempted unlawful entry. The reporting party stated that at approximately 12:29 p.m. on May 28, she heard what appeared to be an unknown individual attempt to open the rear door to her residence before fleeing the scene. There is no suspect(s) description. The investigation is ongoing. UNLAWFUL ENTRY, 2021-06110214, 3800 block of 7th Street N. At approximately 9:35 p.m. on June 11, police were dispatched to the report of an unlawful entry. Upon arrival, it was determined that the witness heard what appeared to be knocking on the window of a neighboring residence. The witness went to investigate the noise and observed the unknown male suspect knocking on the glass door to the residence before making his way to another window. The suspect then allegedly pried the window screen off, opened the window and entered the residence. Arriving officers located an individual matching the suspect description in the vicinity of the residence and he was positively identified by the witness. Dominique Burden, 31, of Washington D.C. was charged with Unlawful Entry and released on a summons. ASSAULT & BATTERY, 2021-06100105, N.
