Press release from the City of Irving: June 14, 2021 The Texas Department of Transportation (TxDOT) will implement the following nightly closures on State Highway (SH) 183, beginning Monday, June 14. These closures are weather permitting and subject to change. 8:30 P.M. TO 5 A.M., JUNE 14-16 Westbound SH 183: Right lane will close from Maryland Drive to Loop 12.  8:30 P.M. TO 5 A.M., JUNE 16-18 Westbound SH 183: Two left lanes will close from Maryland Drive to Loop 12. 8 to 10 P.M., Thursday, June 17, and Sunday, June 20 Eastbound SH 183: Multiple lanes will close from the Regal Ridge Parkway exit ramp to Maryland Drive. Full Closure of eastbound SH 183 From Regal Ridge Parkway to the Maryland Drive exit ramp. View detour map. 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Thursday, June 17 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday, June 20   Midnight to 7 a.m., Friday, June 18 Midnight to 7 a.m., Saturday, June 19 The work is part of the $301 million Irving Interchange project that will reconstruct the interchanges at SH 183, SH 114, Loop 12 and Spur 482. The project is anticipated to be completed in mid-2023.
