Victory Construction and Refrigeration is looking for a Commercial Plumber to join our growing team. Plumbers are responsible for the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of plumbing systems and fixtures to ensure proper function. Plumbers in performing their duties inspect work sites to determine the type and amount of material/equipment required for a plumbing work. Responsibilities Must have a valid Driver License with an insurable driving record Maintain and repair damaged equipment, broken pipes, and clogged drains Install underground drainage, and water supply piping systems Assist in the layout, assembly, and installation of fixtures for water, waste and air systems Utilize hand tools in fitting of valves, couplings and components for tanks, pumps or other plumbing system Select and oversee the procurement of construction materials and equipment Install pipes and piping fixtures for plumbing systems Ensure compliance with building codes and set safety standards Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes to required angles using measurement tools Inspect plumbing systems to identify issues and initiate repairs Coordinate with contractors, pipefitters, and other construction workers to ensure and effective plumbing system Participate in plumbing on call duties. Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs. A plus to possess: - Multiple jurisdiction licensing Education and Experience Prefer a high school diploma and training at community colleges, trade school or apprenticeship program. Minimum 2 years of commercial plumbing experience Journeyman’s license is preferred but not required Plumbers are able to lift, handle, and move fairly heavy plumbing tools and materials such as augers, jetters, wrenches, and commercial appliances Able to withstand hours of work while standing, crouching or taking other rigorous positions Are versed in identifying plumbing problems and providing solutions to resolve such issues Complete a pre-employment background check and urinalysis.
