Novato To Hold Virtual Pride Speaker Event

NOVATO, CA – Novato will hold a virtual Pride speaker event Wednesday. The Virtual Pride Speaker Event will be held on Zoom at 5:30 p.m. The city and the Spahr Center, a Marin group that works to support the LGBTQ+ community, is presented the event in partnership with Novato High School's Sexuality and Gender Acceptance Club and San Marin High School's Gay-Straight Alliance. The event is part of the city's inaugural Pride Month celebration. This event will feature a panel of local LGBTQ+ advocates discussing topics around community allyship and inclusivity. Panel members will include Spahr Center ExecutiveDirector Dana Van Gorder, San Francisco Pride Board President Carolyn Wysingerand SFP Board Vice President/Spahr Board Member Suzanne Ford. Pre-registration is required for this event.
