JOLIET, IL —A gunman opened fire in Joliet's Cathedral Area on Tuesday afternoon, but nobody was struck by the gunfire, according to Joliet police. Two women suffered superficial injuries was a result of automobile glass shattering, police said. Both of the women were not hit by the bullets, according to police.
