BUCKINGHAM TOWNSHIP, PA — A pilot was killed when their plane crashed in a wooded area of Buckingham Township on Tuesday morning, according to the Buckingham Township Police Department. The plane went down around 10:34 a.m. in a wooded area near Cold Spring Creamery Road and Charter Club Drive, police said. The pilot was pronounced dead at the scene, officials said. Their identify has not been released pending notification of family members. Firefighters from Midway, Doylestown and Plumsteadville assisted at the scene. No homes or structures were damaged in the crash.
