Part-Time Help for a Full-Time Ice Cream Lover! compensation: $15.00 per hour + tips to start. Artisan ice cream company that churns out (pun intended!) amazing ice cream in the Los Angeles area looking for immediate on-call part-time help! Bluebird Ice Creamery is Los Angeles' premier sundae bar catering company. We have events lined up and always need on-call servers and last minute help both mid-week and/or weekends. Position: On-Call Ice Cream server at catering private events, festivals and street fairs. You'll work at events doing work that's simple, but important to us - like handing out cups of ice cream, making sundaes, making ice cream sandwiches, working the register, etc., but most importantly creating amazingly happy customers! This is a job for someone that: • Is looking for flexible work - and additional income. You'll be an on-call employee for when we need servers. • Likes a small company environment that's chill and is cool with working with a single person or alone. • Enjoys people and is friendly and upbeat with a truly sunny disposition! • Likes working outdoors sometimes - and in the heat on occasion. • Can lift 20 lbs and bend often and has the physical stamina to set up and break down at an event. • Can take direction, is a self-starter and catches on quickly. • Has a clean driving record and a current license. You will be asked to drive our van at some point. Your record will be checked! • Has transportation to events around the city --- you can pick and choose if it works within your schedule and location. • Is available 7 days a week - and during the week too (the more flexible you are, the more you'll be booked). You can pick and choose your events! • Is reliable, on time, cheerful, honest and not a flake! This job is not just a job for the summer, but we're certainly our busiest then. We have many events booked that we need help at, all throughout the year. Hours can be anything from afternoon hours mid-week to nights on the weekends. You just never know! A shift is usually about 4 hours. We'll give you nice advance warning though. Must be able to wear black leggings or black pants, and fit into a size M, L or XL t-shirt. We'll provide the t-shirt and apron. Pay is $15.00 an hour, plus tips. Please apply via email, with a RESUME ATTACHED.
