Jax is my daugher's fathers dog. His health has gone down hill and can no longer care for Jax. I have taken care of Jax a few times now while he was in the hospital and have learned a lot about him, he is a pretty smart dog and would do awsome in the right environment. One with some patience, a bit of understanding and a lot of love. I would recommend that he goes with kids at least 8-9 and older. He is good with younger children but acts like the "big brother" to them. If they leave the group he will try to bring them back. My ex said he was told by his vet that they think there may be some coyote mixed in with his shepard. I can not say for sure that he is Shepard/coyote mix but he sure does act as if. Not in a bad way though. He turned 1 this year on Feb 14. Jax definitely has to be seen by the vet to have his Crazy dew claws removed that Has to be part of taking him. I have grown pretty fond of him while caring for him and will be picky as to where he goes. He Needs a yard. I have to tie him out at my place. He has a yard at home and I am pretty sure he would prefer a yard to run in. There is a rehoming fee for Jax. If you think you can provide Jax with the perfect place, can provide for his medical attention to his dew claws and can have patients and understanding and love for Jax please contact me. If this ad is up he is still available.
