WHO WE ARE: San Marcos based Harmonia Living is looking to add full time and part time warehouse employees to our staff. We are a young, energetic and lively bunch with a casual but fast-paced work environment. We are an online retail company with over a dozen successful websites that specialize in different household furniture items. We have a large warehouse fully-stocked with modern furniture, which we ship locally as well as around the country. We are a small and dynamic company, so everyone has an important role to play! We encourage students, or others with limited experience, but are hard workers and can be detail oriented to apply. JOB DESCRIPTION: As a Warehouse Associate, you and your team will be responsible for: Picking, Packing, Fixing, and Shipping our products (working with LTL freight carriers, performing local deliveries). You would also be responsible for helping unload shipping containers, counting and organizing our inventory, and order fulfillment (finding the product, unpacking and inspecting it, repairing any minor issues, repacking, palletizing, and shipping the furniture). Please note that physical strength is essential for this position: Some of our products are over 50lb and the job does require that you can safely lift 50lb with others, multiple times throughout the day. Our products include: wood and metal patio furniture and modern indoor furniture (bed frames, armoires, dressers, etc.). Occasionally, you may be required to go on local delivery runs, and may be called upon to drive our delivery truck, so a clean driving record is essential. SKILLS NEEDED: Detail Orineted Can lift 50lb or more Hard Worker Experience With Hand Tools & Power Tools Good people skills "Nice-to-have" skills, but not required: Wood working skills, furniture repair PAY: $16-20/hr Hours during employment are M-F 8am-4:30pm. A full-time year-round warehouse position includes added benefits: 12 PTO(Paid time off), 5 paid holidays, health care up to $222 per month, and 401k matching up to 5%. SIGNING BONUS: $500 $250 Paid out on the first check after `1 month of full time service and the balance paid on the next paycheck for employees who maintain full time schedules. TRANSIT: We are located within walking distance of the Palomar train station. Take the train to work!
