As a Venue Set-Up Helper, you are responsible for working independently and with a team to ensure successful events that exceed customer expectations.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
· Moving furniture and décor into a planned design
· Light landscaping duties such as leaf blowing and maintaining and cleaning fountains
· Ensuring trash is removed from the venue and placed in the appropriate receptacles
· Monitoring and testing on-site equipment as needed
· General cleaning of the venue as needed
· Partnering with the maintenance, landscaping, and design teams to ensure the appropriate appearance of the venue
· Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Experience:
· Experience in a general labor role preferred
· Experience in hospitality preferred
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
· Ability to stand or walk for eight (8) hours or more in a fast-paced, indoor/outdoor environment requiring movement
· Ability to reach with hands and arms in any direction and kneel, stoop, bend and climb stairs
· Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
· Bi-lingual (Spanish and English) language skills a plus
