Description
We are a family owned organization dedicated to providing quality products and services to bakeries, schools, restaurants, and other food outlets seeking wholesome, local foods. We are currently looking for a stable, reliable operator to work steady, consistent hours at our mill location. Below are a few of the Bagger Operator's job responsibilities and essential requirements: * Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50 pounds. * Must be able to stand for the duration of the shift. * Verbally communicate with the previous operator regarding prior shift’s activities (problems that occurred, etc.). * Check production schedule at the beginning of the shift in order to determine the product description, size and quantity of each order to be run. * Set up machine to the required specifications. Match label or bag UPC with production sheet. * Operate and adjust machine as needed to insure only quality bagged product is produced. * Report any problems with machine or product to supervisor or QA. * Fill out any and all paperwork as required. * Continuously monitor the bagging machine to ensure proper seals and to identify potential mechanical problems. * Communicate with QA technician or supervisor regarding any questionable product. * Perpetually maintain operational sanitation inside and outside of equipment and work area. * Use of various equipment in warehouse; such as, Mill, Bagger, Sewers, Scales, Label Printer etc. * Effectively work and communicate well with others, work at a fast pace, have a can-do attitude and contribute to the working relationships within the company. Physical Effort: * Must have the physical strength and stamina for constant standing and walking during the shift. * Must be able to repetitively lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
