Description

Cyclist hit by Amazon van missing property - sunglasses + zip pouch On Thursday, June 3rd at about 6:15 PM, I was hit by an Amazon delivery van while riding my bike and taken to the hospital in an ambulance. The collision occurred at Broadway and Ocean View Drive in Oakland (top of the hill, 2 blocks from the Highway 24 overpass, 1 block south of Keith Ave). I was able to recover my bike from the nearby fire station, but they did not have my sunglasses (Oakley Sutro S https://www.oakley.com/en-us/product/W0OO9462?variant=888392489302 ) or my zippered case containing my flat repair kit (looks like this: https://www.rapha.cc/us/en_US/shop/rainproof-essentials-case/product/LEC05XXBLK in a dark grey/green). I remember a man looking through the case for my ID before I told him it wasn't in there, and then the fire department arrived and I'm not sure what happened to it after that. My sunglasses had the lens knocked out of them, but I think they were placed on the sidewalk near my bike. If you were at the scene or have any information that could help me get this stuff back I'd greatly appreciate it if you contacted me. Thanks
