DESCRIPTION: Coordinate daily with your superintendent, manage construction projects as assigned to ensure and promote productivity, safety, delivery of a quality product and development of employees while protecting the company’s interest and maintaining good relationships with clients. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES Provide field management for awarded projects from beginning to end, including: * Maintain and monitor the general health and safety of all crew members * Monitor and control construction efforts to ensure project is constructed in accordance with design, budget, and schedule. * Establish and maintain effective communication within our organization and with material suppliers, subcontractors, owners, engineers, mechanics and other individuals involved with the projects * Assist with scheduling and coordination with other superintendents * Attend project meetings as required * Coordinate jobsite needs (Water meters, plans, permits, testing, payment of fees, locates, etc) * Ensure company equipment is properly maintained and cared for * Assist in managing, planning, organizing and staffing crews * Enforce company policies and procedures. Assist general superintendent with project administration from beginning to end, including: * Ensuring proper administrative functions are performed * Verifying accurate field measurements and inputting field logs daily * Measuring billable quantities with client(s) and inspector(s) when needed * Assist with job costing * Assist with project close-out QUALIFICATIONS: * Minimum 3 years experience as a Foreman. * Ability to: plan, coordinate, assign, organize, prioritize, delegate, and evaluate work. * Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. * Establish and maintain effective and cooperative working relationships with colleagues, subordinates, customers, vendors. * Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction including but not limited to snow removal.
