These are uncertain times, but one thing that is certain is that people have dogs! We work independently, in an assigned Pooper Trooper truck, PPE is provided. We take many extra measures to ensure a safe working environment is provided. Pooper Trooper is the Top Poop Patrol for the Puget Sound and we are looking for fun, motivated, level headed people to help us as we grow! We use commercial tools and sanitary methods, so there is no wallowing in poop and you will find that you will do more driving than picking up! This is an exciting position at Pooper Trooper for what will be a Full Time position! You will start work at our Lynnwood office, we work Monday through Friday, sometimes on Saturday. The position available is part time, however could very quickly increase in hours. Our start time is 8 am Mon-Thurs and 7 am on Fridays. We start with a 2 week trial training period of which each of us will decide if this job is for you. You are not an independent contractor, so no high self-employment taxes and you would drive one of our trucks. Some musts to be a Pooper Trooper: Enjoy the outdoors and can embrace all kinds of weather. Have a love of dogs and animals in general. Be dependable, can multi-task and fosters attention to detail. Be able to problem solve. Have good eyesight A clean driving record and is confident in driving in all weather conditions. Have a level head, good memory and common sense. Have a sense of direction and experience with GPS technology. Be able to cope with extreme traffic and will not react to aggressive drivers. Can lift and carry up to 50 lbs daily. Who can walk several miles each day in all types of terrain. There are frequent performance perks, bonuses and a Matched Simple IRA plan. We also provide holiday and performance bonuses based on attendance and job performance. For full time employees, we provide 1 week of vacation after a year of full time employment. We offer daily water, coffee and snacks. We provide breakfast on Fridays. We will provide Pooper Trooper tees, hoodie and waterproof gear, however you will need your own waterproof shoes and cargo pants to get started.
