Starting a cover band

Now that Covid vaccines are largely out and live music is looking like it may be doable again, I'm starting up a band again. Currently looking for a bassist, a drummer, a keyboardist and a vocalist (or any instrument+vocals). I am a guitar player, and I have another guitar player signed on as well. That said, both of us are multi-instrumentalists who can pick up another instrument for a song ot two as needed. Our goal is to play bars in the local Lansing Area, and cover a lot of ground. we are in our early 40s, and lean towards rock, but will play a variety of music from motown to Metallica, in order to be able to play to any crowd. We are open minded about song choice, as well as making them our own or genre crossing (like Soul-Punk)if we can make it sound good. Your age doesn't much matter to us, if it doesn't to you. that said, we both have families and jobs, and will likely only be able to practice once a week and gig maybe once a month. I know a lot of players who want to play more than that, so I am mentioning it now, as we both are in that boat.
