QRC Valve Distributors, LLC is looking for an experienced, driven individual to join our Baton Rouge team as a Warehouse Technician. This person will complete shipments by processing and loading orders. This role may require working in shifts, so flexibility is a plus. The right person for the job needs to be an ambitious and hardworking professional who does not mind working in hot or cold conditions and can work an entire shift on his or her feet. Speed, accuracy, and attention to detail are a must. Duties include but are not limited to: Prepare orders by processing requests and supply orders Pulling material and pack orders in an orderly manner and prepare carton/crates for shipping Placing orders in delivery area Treat products with care and concern at all times Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify contents Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and immediately notify supervisor Maintains quality service by following organization standards Maintains safe and clean work environment Completes reports with all necessary information Train and support new employees are they are onboarded Qualifications and Education Requirements High school diploma/GED Forklift certified Previous warehouse experience Professional attitude and appearance Ability to work on feet and carry heavy objects Solid written and verbal communication skills Excellent organizational skills Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise Multi-tasking and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks Focused on offering first-class customer service
